We had an amazing time on this tour to the blue mountains. The guide mark was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly engaging and fun.his enthusiasm and passion for the subject made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The tour was well-organized, and the guide made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. I especially loved the whole experience from start to finish. I booked our Blue Mountain private excursion months in advance. (We were two couples.) I felt secure in the knowledge that I had made the right decision in selecting Sydney Adventure Tours as our provider. Mark, our guide, was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable about flora, fauna, and history. It was particularly important to hear about the history and abuse of the indigenous peoples in the region. Mark was conscious of our needs and limitations, but put together a terrific itinerary for us, seeking our approval and input at each step. I was impressed that Mark took the time to call me to say he'd be a couple of minutes late picking us up, when in fact he showed up exactly on time. Finally, the company provided a new Mercedes van which was very comfortable. I highly recommend Sydney Adventure Tours, and Mark in particular. - 1/07/2025

My husband and I had booked a tour with Mark. He was an amazing guide! He provided so much valuable information about the history of each places we had gone through. He was such a passionate Aussie who spent the entirety of the tour going beyond what you would google or read about. He is such an asset to this company and represents well. Our tour was a perfect day of a mix of guided activities and a few solo/couple time to explore. We ended our tour with a unforgettable experience. Overpriced for sight seeing Blue Mountains are beautiful but for the cost of this trip and "luxury" name you expect a bit more differentiation compared to the standard tours. Fair to say that we were visiting at the busiest period of the year and so it was very busy but hard to say this trip does anything different than the cheaper alternatives. We were taken to a very busy wildlife park and the busiest town nearby for lunch. Tour guide was friendly and competent but didn't really demonstrate much knowledge on the blue mountains and limited "guiding", just driving, pointing out good spots for pictures and making some jokes. Advanced warning for those wanting to hike: this trip visits the busiest sections of blue mountains mostly for a quick picture rather than true trekking/exploring. In total we walked 2km in an hour, otherwise trying to find a spot to see the view in crowds of other tour groups. We were also required to take a taxi to an hotel 30 minutes from our accommodation, even though the trip asks for your pick up address. They did compensate us in the end but it's just an additional faff which undermines the "luxury" claim. Overall this is a costly way to see blue mountains, it seems better to self guide and do a proper hike. - 1/07/2025

I had an amazing day exploring the Blue Mountains! We were lucky to enjoy perfect weather, which made the stunning waterfalls and viewpoints even more breathtaking. Our guide, Mark, truly made this trip unforgettable. He shared so many interesting stories and insights during the tour and even on the drive there.
