Sydney Adventure Tours Terms and conditions
Adventure Tours Sydney and the domain name sydneyadventuretours.com are the operating names of Figers Holdings Pty Ltd, Australian Business number 75 105 246 615 bus operator accreditation no: 31956, which by law operates its vehicles under NSW Toads and Maritime Services rules and regulations. We adhere to these rules and regulations which are incorporated into our terms & conditions.
Conduct of passengers
The hirer will be responsible for the conduct of passengers and for any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers.
The company reserves the right to charge the hirer for any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers during the hire.
The driver reserves the right to refuse to transport persons under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. No smoking (including e-cigarettes) permitted in any vehicles. In case of any unruly or overly intoxicated behavior the driver reserves the right to deny entry to the vehicle.

- We have a supply of some warm jackets, raincoats and umbrellas – if required
- Water is supplied onboard, although we encourage you bring your own bottle if possible.
Unless otherwise arranged with us as a special request or as a or stated as an inclusion, your tour inclusions are only as listed above and do not include;
- Lunch or other private expenses
- Entry Fees at attractions.
Suggested items to take on tour
- Suitable clothing. Be prepared for it to heat up or cool down through the day. In summer, a hat is a good idea. We do carry some warm jackets and raincoats on board.
- Sunscreen, the sun is harsher in Australia than in the northern hemisphere.
- If it looks like rain, please ask your hotel for an umbrella if you haven’t packed your own. We do carry some umbrellas and raincoats.
- Swimmers and towels if you plan on going for a dip. (Sydney or South Coast Tour)
We have Public Liability Insurance for our guests for sightseeing, bushwalking and transport. We are limited to 20,000,000 AUD for one claim. For tour activities not operated by us such as Scenic World, Wine Tasting, restaurants or by other tour operators we cannot and do not take responsibility for any injury or loss arising in any manner.
Changes to Bookings
If you need to make a change to your booking, please contact us and we will endeavor to accommodate your request. Any request may be subject to our cancelation fees on a case by case basis.
Any booking cancelled within 7-days of tour date will be charged 20% of the total tour fee; any cancellation less than 48-hours before scheduled pick up will be charged in full. We will work with you to reschedule your tour rather than cancel, if possible.
Bookings made on behalf of our guests such as wine tastings or lunches may not be refundable and will depend on policies of these individual venues, we will endeavor to receive appropriate compensation. Cancelations due to Covid-19 reasons apply to the same conditions above.
Refunds for cancelations or changes to bookings will be credited to the bank of your choice or to the credit card used when the purchase was made. Any credit card fees, transaction fees or other financial fees involved with the refund may be charged on a case by case basis.
Breakdowns and delays
We give our advise on journey times in good faith, however we do not guarantee the completion of any journey in any specific time and will not be liable for loss or inconvenience caused by the actual journey time or breakdown of the vehicle. The time of pick-up, start time, stop-over times arrival time or return time cannot be guaranteed. Unusual weather and traffic conditions are beyond the control of Sydney Adventure Tours. Late arrivals due to these and other occurrences out of the control of the driver are not grounds for cancelation. The driver makes the final decision for the route taken based on the road conditions, the traffic conditions or other circumstances. Any late arrivals at your destination from taking of such routes are not cause for refunds, partial refunds or compensation in any way.
Passengers Property and Lost property
Sydney Adventure Tours agrees to carry passengers luggage and personal effects and will do our although we state we do not carry the same as a bailee and such goods remain the sole risk and responsibility of the passenger concerned and we shall not be liable for any damage to or loss of any property due to theft. All property will be returned to Sydney Adventure Tours office and registered in our Lost and Found register and will remain in our office for a maximum of 2 months after which it will be disposed of.
Sydney Adventure Tours reserves the right to outsource tour and charter work when it is unable to undertake a booking because of vehicle or driver availability. There will be no change in price charged to our guests. We reserve the right to replace the vehicle with mechanical problems with a difference type of vehicle or engage a subcontractor to complete the charter.
The driver is ultimately in total control of the charter and will communicate with the tour/group leader regarding the alterations to the charter or requests from the group.
