The City
We begin in The Rocks, Sydney’s historic heart, before passing the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Circular Quay. Continue along Macquarie Street, past elegant 19th-century landmarks and St Mary’s Cathedral, before stopping at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for breathtaking views over the harbour.
Eastern Suburbs, Bondi Beach and Watsons Bay Option
From the city, travel through stylish Paddington, with its tree-lined terraces and boutique cafés, before heading to Bondi Beach — Sydney’s most famous coastal playground. Bondi is a highlight for many guests, and we often include a short walk along the famous Bondi coastal path. The scenic Tamarama to Bondi section offers spectacular ocean views and a relaxed, local experience.
Take a stroll along the Bondi promenade, dip your toes in the Pacific, or pause for a quick refreshment overlooking the surf.
Continue to Watsons Bay, a harbourside village known for its fresh seafood and relaxed coastal atmosphere. Guests can enjoy lunch or a drink at the Garden Bar at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, or dine at the iconic Doyles on the Beach, famous for its classic Sydney seafood and harbour views.
Alternatively, choose to end your tour here with an optional ferry return to Circular Quay via Rose Bay — a scenic ride that lets you enjoy Sydney Harbour at your own pace.
Northern Beaches Option
Cross the Harbour Bridge to explore Sydney’s North Shore, home to some of the city’s most beautiful harbourside neighbourhoods. Stop at Milsons Point for postcard views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge before continuing to Georges Head Lookout in Mosman, where sweeping views take in the entrance to Sydney Harbour and the city skyline beyond.
From there, descend to Balmoral Beach, a calm and elegant bay loved by locals for its cafés, golden sand, and relaxed seaside charm. The Boathouse and Balmoral Pavilion are two outstanding waterfront options for a coffee, light meal, or seaside lunch.
Depending on your timing and interests, we can also visit Manly, a lively beachside suburb with a relaxed coastal atmosphere. Enjoy a stroll along the Manly Corso, explore the beachfront cafés, or dine at one of our favourite spots — The Pantry, right on the sand, or The Boathouse Restaurant at Shelly Beach, both offering fresh local cuisine with stunning ocean views.
The short walk from Manly Beach to Shelly Beach is absolutely stunning, following a gentle oceanfront path lined with native bush and scenic headland views — a true local favourite.
