COVID-19 Safety Policy and Procedures

At Sydney Adventure Tours, the health and safety of our guests, guides, and community are our highest priority.

We have developed the following policies to adhere to the strictest safety on all tours. We are monitoring the latest information and recommendations and update these policies accordingly.

Comply with Current New South Wales (NSW) government Covid safety guidelines.

Wellbeing of staff and guests

To exclude anyone who is unwell, prior to departure both staff and guests will be asked questions about their health. Our drivers will be masked while inside the vehicle. In case of the need for contact tracing, we must comply with government regulations as to requiring QR code check-in if necessary.

Vaccination requirements for tour operators staff and their guests may be mandated by the government at some point. All current Sydney Adventure Tours stuff are fully vaccinated. Vaccination requirements and concerns may be discussed

Social Distancing

Private Charter Tours. We only provide services for one group of people that know each other at one time, this is private charter, one group at one time. The decision to socially distance within your group are different than mixing with members of the public you don’t know.
Public Tours. Our Public Tour to the Blue Mountains uses a bus with 15 seats. It is a spacious bus however all government requirements for social distancing are adhered to which may mean limits on group size.
We are happy to discuss your needs and preferences around social distancing ahead of your journey to best accommodate your expectations.

Hygiene and cleaning

  • Our vehicles receive a deep cleaning between journeys including the wiping down of all seats and surfaces with disinfectant.
  • The vehicle will always return to depot for cleaning between jobs.
  • During an outing, high touch surfaces will be wiped with disinfectant regularly. Your driver will open and close all doors on all stops.
  • Sanitizing hand gel will be offered to guests each time they return to the vehicle and will otherwise be available upon request. Contactless payment processes are available.
