Featherdale Wildlife Park is home to one of Australia’s largest collection of native birds and animals. More than 1,700 individuals from 250 species make their home at Featherdale: from kangaroos and koalas to dingoes and crocodiles plus more types of colourful parrots and finches than you can count. If seeing Australian wildlife is a priority for your trip a stop at Featherdale is a great way to tick that off your list.
We prefer to visit Featherdale Wildlife Park first thing in the morning on the way to the Blue Mountains. The animals are just waking and keen to be fed by early arriving guests.
You’ll have the chance to collect a cup of food on entry and feed the Pademelon (small, kangaroo-like marsupials) who you’ll find freely hoping about the first enclosure. Have you been daydreaming about sending your friends and family a picture of you patting a koala?

By adding on the VIP photo pack, you and your group will have a chance to do just that. Featherdale will print a set of photos, provide you with a link to collect these online, and take some happy snaps on your own phone so you can share them right away.
We’re able to offer our guests a discount at Featherdale – just $30 because you are with us, rather than the $38 charged by Featherdale.
Entry fee and VIP photos are discounted for Sydney Adventure Tours guests.
Entry Fee: $30 for adults and $25 for children (discounted from $39 and $20). Children under 3 are free.

Featherdale Wildlife Park may be included in the Full Day Blue Mountains Private Tour, Jenolan Caves Private Tour (Currently not running due to road works), or a Private Sydney Tour. The Park is about 45-minutes’ drive from central Sydney and on the way to the Blue Mountains. Most guests find an hour’s visit enough to see and do everything. An onsite café serves refreshments and light meals.
Featherdale is included on our Small Group Private Tour.
Sydney Adventure Tours offers private charter tours to the Blue Mountains visiting these and other locations. Tours are also available in the City of Sydney, the South Coast, the Northern Beaches, and the Hunter Valley. Bespoke tours can be arranged to meet your needs.
