Featherdale Wildlife Park 9:00
Featherdale Wildlife Park is home to one of Australia’s most comprehensive collections of native wildlife. This is the place to have a personal encounter with a koala, feed kangaroos, and see wombats, parrots and finches, a huge crocodile, and fairy penguins.

Lunch and free time to explore. Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath.
Each of the villages of the upper mountains – Leura, Katoomba, and Blackheath – have their own character. All three offer excellent lunch options and charming streetscapes. There are cafes, bistros, and pub meals. Or meat pies and take-away sandwiches if the day calls for a picnic with a mountain view. If fine dining is of interest to you and your group – we’re happy to make recommendations and bookings ahead of time.

Scenic World – Ultimate Discovery Pass inclusive: 14:00
Scenic World offers 4 different experiences. Guests who choose to add a visit to Scenic World to their day in the Blue Mountains usually spend 1hr to 1:30hr here.
The skyway – a partially glass bottomed gondola – offers breathtaking views as it crosses the valley. Along the 720-metre journey you’ll spy Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters, Mt Solitary and the Jamison Valley.
The railway – running on an incline of 52° (128%) is the steepest passenger railway in the world.  Visitors can descend into the valley, or ascend the escarpment, on the railway or the cableway.

Return to Sydney: 17:30
If you’d like something different for your return to the city – we can drive through Sydney Olympic Park to the wharf from where you can catch a ferry to the City. This commuter ferry cruises down the Parramatta River through suburban Sydney. It takes about 45 minutes to reach either Barangaroo or Circular Quay.

The three sisters at Echo Point at seen from Scenic World. We recommend an additional afternoon visit to Echo Point towards the end of the day in order to See the Three Sisters up close as a last stop when the valley is full of sun and glowing on the sandstone cliffs.

More Details

The tour may start at any time. To get the best experience at Featherdale we recommend the morning, early as the park started to open.

For the best experience we recommend Featherdale Wildlife Park in the morning when it is not too hot and as the animals are more cheerful, and the Katoomba area in the afternoon for the sunlight effects into the Jamison Valley.

Departure time should be between 7:30 and 10:00 AM

Some walking activities are available to supplement just the scenic world activities. Your guide will recommend some additional short walks, or you may requests this on the day.
