Visit Scenic World

Scenic World offers four different experiences. Guests who choose to add a visit to Scenic World to their day in the Blue Mountains usually spend an hour to an hour and a half here.

The skyway – a partially glass bottomed gondola – offers breathtaking views as it crosses the valley. Along the 720-metre journey you’ll spy Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters, Mt Solitary and the Jamison Valley.

The railway –  running on an incline of 52° (128%) is the steepest passenger railway in the world.  Visitors can descend into the valley, or ascend the escarpment, on the railway or the cableway.

The cableway – a fully enclosed cabin – offers a 545-metre journey past the sheer sandstone cliffs and with panoramic views of the valley.

On the valley floor guests find the walkway – a 2.4-kilometre elevated boardwalk offering various signposted walks through the ancient rainforest.
